What we collect

The only personal information you are asked for on this website is what you choose to type into the contact form:

  • your name;
  • your e-mail address;
  • your phone number, if you give one;
  • the service you select from the list;
  • your message.

Nothing is collected automatically while you browse. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads no third-party scripts, fonts or images — everything it needs is served from our own address. When you send the form, our server also records the date and time and the network address the message came from, which we use only to protect the form against abuse.

03

Why we collect it

We use the information you send us for two purposes:

  • To respond to your enquiry and arrange an appointment with you — in person in Kimberley or by phone.
  • To render financial services where you go on to become a client. At that stage we may need further information from you, and we will explain what we need and why when we ask for it.

We do not use the details you send through this website to send you marketing you have not asked for.

04

How it is stored and shared

Form submissions are stored on the server that hosts this website, which is operated for VyroPlus by its website service provider, and are e-mailed to the VyroPlus mailbox (info@vyroplus.com) so that we can respond to you. They are not sold, and they are not shared with third parties except where that is needed to provide the service you have asked for — for example, passing an application to the product provider you choose — or where the law requires it.

Anyone who processes your information on our behalf may use it only for the purpose we give it to them for, and is required to protect it in line with POPIA.

05

How long we keep it

We keep the information from your enquiry for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and any appointment that follows. Where you become a client, records are kept for as long as the laws and regulations that apply to financial services providers require. After that, they are deleted or made anonymous.

We do not state fixed retention periods here because they depend on the type of record and on rules that change from time to time. You are welcome to ask us how long a particular record will be kept.

06

Your rights

Under POPIA you have the right to ask us:

  • Access — what personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction — to correct or update information that is wrong, incomplete or out of date.
  • Deletion — to delete information we no longer have a lawful reason to keep.
  • Objection — to stop processing your information for a particular purpose, on reasonable grounds.

To make a request, use the contact form on this website, email info@vyroplus.com or phone 053 302 0980 and tell us what you would like us to do, or write to us at our postal address. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act, so that we never hand your information to the wrong person. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a request, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.

07

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information you send us. These include serving this website over an encrypted connection, keeping the systems that store enquiries access-controlled, and limiting who can see them.

No way of sending or storing information is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that information sent over the internet will never be intercepted or misused. If you would rather not use the form, you are welcome to phone us or write to us by post instead.

08

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time — for example when the law changes, or when the way this website works changes. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. The version published here is the one that applies.
